Smart Speakers

Privakey solves the identity challenges that exist with smart speakers like Google Home and Amazon Alexa. We expand what’s possible for app developers to build by assuring the identity of the user interacting with the device.  By combining the convenience of voice and the security of device-based authentication, Privakey delivers a rich, multi-channel experience.

Do More With Your Voice Apps

Everyone loves the convenience of using smart home devices, but how do you really know who is really speaking to the device? Privakey enables you to know exactly who is interacting with an IoT device so that you can build voice applications involving large transactions, sensitive information and personal data.

Money Movement

The customer identification features that exist inherently on smart speakers today aren’t robust enough to allow banks to offer customers the option to transfer large sums of money via voice.
Your mobile app can be used to prompt customers to confirm a money transfer initiated on a device like Amazon Alexa. A simple push notification is sent to the user with details of the transaction, and with a biometric provided the users’ identity and money transfer are confirmed simultaneously.

User Identification

You wouldn’t want your public health records accessible to anyone visiting your house, which is why strong identification should be needed before accessing any account involving sensitive data.
Customers can conveniently verify their identities before accessing a voice app that houses sensitive financial or health data. All they would have to do is request to open the app and a notification would be triggered to the users’ device where they’ll use their fingerprint or face to authenticate to the smart speaker.

Purchase Approval

When shopping over a smart speaker, high value purchases should require additional approval.  I mean you wouldn’t want just anyone to walk into your home and order a six thousand dollar Rolex.
Once a voice purchase is initiated, an approval notification  can be pushed to the user’s phone whose shopping account is associated with the Alexa. If it was really them, they’ll sign off with a biometric—if not, they can decline and tell their friends to stop messing around with Alexa!

Broaden what you can do with your voice applications today.
